1 Glyndebourne Ave, Toorak

Aug 23, 2016

After completing an apartment and the entire block of townhouses for this client in 2016, we were engaged to repaint the entire interior of their new home recently purchased in this popular Toorak enclave.

Colour consulted once again by the irrepressible Julie Mirabile, the interior of the home was re-imagined with newly installed Tongue n’ Groove Flooring (Colour – Argento), powder coated hand rails in Dulux Grey Kinetic and the Ceilings, Walls and Trims in different shades of Dulux Lexicon.

Other feature colours included Haymes Rockslide for the Kitchen/Dining Cabinetry and Porters Elephant in Chalkboard paint for a sliding cavity door. Below are a few photos of the completed work.

15 Lambeth Ave, Armadale

Jul 22, 2016

The clients of this beautiful freestanding Victorian weatherboard in the heart of Armadale engaged us to paint the entire interior whilst they were away on their annual holiday.

The original painting was meticulously maintained throughout, yet the colours outdated with the reds and creams of the 1980’s.

I recommended our regular colour consultant, Julie Mirabile to drop in and weave her magic wand. The result was a much simplified palette with each of the main rooms in the house having it’s own identity with a different wall colour.

We carried Dulux Vivid White throughout on all the ceilings and a custom formula of Dulux Natural White on all the Woodwork.

Entrance Hallway – Resene Quarter Napa

Formal Lounge & Dining – Dulux Cashmere

Master Bedroom – Dulux White Beach Half

Study & Bedrooms – Dulux Natural White

36 Greig St, Albert Park

Mar 13, 2016

This is the second property we have painted for this client in the beautiful tree-lined street of Albert Park. Looking to make a bold statement in comparison to neighbouring the properties, the client was after a mid to deep tone grey that would stand out amongst its peers. The answer was Resene Friar Grey on the weatherboards, Front Fence with Dulux Lexicon Quarter trims and a Dulux Black front door.

The client, having lived in this residence the better part of 10 years decided to do a complete internal facelift, repainting all surfaces, restoring and policing existing floorboards with the intention of putting on the market.

We were engaged to initially paint the entire interior but pleased with our work, we were asked to follow through and paint the entire exterior.

Interior: Dulux Natural White

Exterior Trims: Resene Armidillo; Dulux Natural White

The Whale House

Dec 27, 2015

Just completed, The Whale House in the popular Great Ocean Road enclave of Fairhaven was the first house built in ‘Timbara Cluster’, a private allotment of land high above the Fairhaven SLSC after the Ash Wednesday fires of 1983.

The house, with spectacular views had not been painted in over 19 years.

The clients, fully aware that the house needed a freshen up, were more than confident with the colours chosen and the results greatly improve the existing beige colours of the 1990’s. The colours are:

Gutters/Facia Boards – Dulux Black Ace

Weatherboards – Dulux Ace of Spades

Windows/Doors – Dulux Lexicon Half

The following photos show the completed work with some additional ‘work in progress’ shots further below:

119 Osborne Street, South Yarra

Jul 21, 2015

We recently completed this magnificent freestanding double storey Victorian during the onset of winter. Contracted to paint many interior rooms including the Entrance, Stairwell, Upstairs Bedrooms, Living and Kitchen area, we also painted the entire exterior retaining the existing colour palette of:

All Walls – Dulux Clotted Cream

All Trims including Ironwork – Dulux Natural White

Recently the house went to auction via Marshall White and was successfully sold at an undisclosed price. The owners were meticulous with the detail required in assuring that we met their expectations. It goes to show that investing in painting prior to selling does pay off!

5 Coolgardie Ave, Malvern East

Jul 11, 2015

Recently purchased, this 1930’s Californian Bungalow home on a large allotment in a beautiful tree-lined street in Malvern East was in dire need of some TLC. With future plans to renovate the rear of the property in 12-18 months time, the clients spared no expense in restoring the original front of the property to make a new home for their family.

Once again under guidance from Colour Consultant Julie Mirabile, we painted the entire interior of the property in the following colours:

All Ceilings – Dulux Sandfly Point Quarter 1/2 strength

All Walls – Dulux Stowe White – 3/4 strength

All Woodwork – Dulux Stowe White 1/3 strength

Additionally, Dulux Handmade Linen was used for a feature wall, kitchen tiles and laundry.

Below are before and after of the front living room.
